Our school's Geographic Information Systems Program students have conducted a technical trip to Bucak District Sazak Mevkii and Hökez Mountain.

Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kerem Hepdeniz and Lecturer Dr. Ayşe Konu Eskitoğlu, on 08.05.2025, a technical trip was conducted to Bucak District Sazak Mevkii and Hökez Mountain with the participation of I. and II. year students of the Geographic Information Systems Program within the scope of the courses Field Applications II in GIS, Directed Study II, and Interpretation and Analysis Techniques in GIS.
During the technical trip, students conducted location determination studies using GPS devices and performed direction determination and terrain reading applications with the help of topographic maps. Additionally, by examining the natural and human elements in the area, meaningful data collection techniques in terms of GIS were applied in the field. With the measurements made around Hökez Mountain, practical studies on the interpretation and analysis of GIS data were conducted.
