A conference on “Career Journey and Advancement in Education” was held at Bucak Emin Gülmez Technical Sciences Vocational School

At Bucak Emin Gülmez Technical Sciences Vocational School, a conference themed “Career Journey and Advancement in Education” was organized on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The event featured speakers from the Career Development Application and Research Center, Lecturer Alp YANIK and Lecturer Fatih GÜNDOĞDU.

“A Strong Step into the Career Journey with MAKÜ”

In the first part of the program, Lecturer Alp YANIK emphasized the importance of students making the best use of the opportunities offered by the university in their career planning process. He provided information about the activities carried out by the Career Development Center and mentioned the internship, education, and career supports offered at the national level. Additionally, he focused on the academic, social, and professional advantages of being a student at MAKÜ, encouraging students to discover their own potential and take an active role in their career journeys.

“Ways to Advance in Career and Education”

In the second session of the conference, Lecturer Fatih GÜNDOĞDU shared important information regarding students' post-graduation education and career goals. He provided detailed explanations on the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) and preference processes, departments that can be transferred to, the opportunity for a second university through the Open Education Faculty (AÖF), the KPSS preparation process, and 4/D public recruitments.

At the end of the program, while students' questions were answered, participants expressed their satisfaction with the event.
