On Monday, May 4, 2026, at 14:30, an online conference titled “Quality Processes in Biomedical” was organized for the students of the Biomedical Device Technology Program at the Biomedical Device Technology Laboratory (Zoom event).
The event was conducted by Biomedical Engineer Merve YILDIRIM and moderated by Lecturer Didem KESGİN.
During the event, the speaker discussed the importance of quality processes in the biomedical field, quality management systems in healthcare services, quality standards in medical devices, and regulatory requirements in detail. Participants were informed about the considerations to be taken into account in the implementation of quality processes, the problems encountered, and solution approaches. Additionally, information was provided about the certifications that can be obtained in the field of quality and their contributions to career processes to support the professional development of students. The speaker shared field experiences, presented examples of practical applications of quality processes, and contributed to increasing students' professional awareness.
The event was conducted with the active participation of students, and an interactive environment was provided through a question-and-answer session, clarifying the topics of interest to the participants.
