The Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol PYK Meeting was Held Hosted by Bucak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Within the scope of the Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, the first meeting of the Protocol Executive Board for the fall semester was held hosted by Bucak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting was chaired by Bucak Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board Hasan Yalçın MEÇİKOĞLU, while Emin Gülmez Technical Sciences Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer İlhan UYSAL, Deputy Directors; Lecturer Erkan ATALAY and Lecturer Abdurrahman ÖKTE, Vocational School Secretary Mehmet İNCE, along with Bucak Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice Chairman of the Board Ahmet COŞKUNER, Board Member Hasan KURT, Assembly Member Harun MUTLU and Acting Secretary General Menşure ARIŞLI attended.

During the meeting, the evaluation and development of students' practical training, internship, and vocational training processes, organizing seminars, conferences, and talks to increase vocational awareness, ensuring curriculum alignment suitable for sector needs, joint projects and R&D studies, and planning technical trips and mentoring activities to enhance interaction between the business world and students were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, Bucak Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Hasan Yalçın Meçikoğlu stated, “This cooperation established between vocational schools and the business world is of great importance for the development of our students' vocational skills and for them to be trained as individuals more prepared for business life. Thanks to this cooperation, our students will have the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gain skills suitable for the expectations of the business world. Strengthening internship and vocational training processes will enable our students to take more equipped and confident steps in their career paths. Additionally, by contributing to meeting the need for qualified intermediate staff required by our regional industry, we will increase the chances of our students finding jobs after graduation. I thank everyone who contributed to this process,” he said.
